Alaska Wi-Fi Coverage
The availability of Wi-Fi is ensured by next-generation Satellite based service provider Gogo.
Alaska Airlines has equipped its Boeing 737 aircraft with Gogo 2Ku service, offering passengers a reliable and high-speed in-flight internet experience. The regional jets operated by Horizon Air and SkyWest, which are utilized for shorter flights, are equipped with Gogo’s ATG4 internet service, including the feature of Free Chat. Additionally, passengers on these flights will have access to a selection of free movies and TV shows.
Aircraft featuring basic Wi-Fi include:

- All Boeing 737-700s
- Select Boeing 737-800s and one 737-900
Aircraft featuring streaming-fast Wi-Fi include:

However, select 737-9 MAX aircraft and all Q400 aircraft, which are used on shorter flights, are not equipped with an internet system yet.

During the flight, Alaska Airlines does not allow guests to make voice or video calls (such as Facetime or Zoom Meetings).
- How do I turn off privacy mode?
On some devices, you may be prompted to “turn off privacy mode”. For Apple users, Safari lets you toggle between Private and standard browsing by clicking the down arrow, beside the number of tabs open-label, at the bottom middle of the Safari window.
